The City of St. Charles Human Resources Department is recruiting for seasonal Bus Drivers for the St. Charles City Transit within the Public Works Street Division. This position is seasonal part-time and no benefits are included with this part-time position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

- Follow specified routes and transports bus passengers under limited supervision.
- Greet passengers; assists passenger with special needs board and de-board.
- Monitor and assist bus entry of wheelchair-bound passengers.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and reports deficiencies to the Supervisor.
- Participate in safety meetings and in-service training for assisting passengers on an as needed basis.
- Provides directions and information about bus schedules, facilities and operations.
- Respond to public inquiries or complaints.
- Conduct periodic passenger surveys.
Minimum Training and Experience Required
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must possess a valid Missouri Class B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement with a clean driving record.
- Previous passenger and/or public driving experience preferred.

Compensation:
- Compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate ranging between $17.44 for 0 years of experience and $21.80.
