Responsibilities
  • Review CRE appraisals to ensure accuracy, compliance, and collateral risk mitigation
  • Document work by providing review documents that describe and support conclusions.
  • Perform corrective reviews when necessary
  • Mitigate collateral risk by advising lending personnel on appraisal valuation issues
  • Provide feedback, technical coaching and counseling to fee appraisers and review appraisers with respect to service level expectations in valuation assignments in terms of product quality, efficiency, and customer service

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Global Credit Review, Vice President, versatile and talented business professional to join our Global Credit Review Team, within Corporate Audit Division. As part of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing our continuous monitoring program through the execution of detailed assessments and development of innovative analytics. You will participate in the execution of targeted credit review examinations, and provide independent assurance over State Street's credit risk practices executed in the first and second lines of defense.

Your scope of coverage will include traditional credit lending, counterparty credit risk (i.e., trading book activity) and non-traditional activities that may give rise to credit risk. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring credit risk practices are executed in line with regulatory expectations / requirements across the various jurisdictions where State Street operates.
