SUMMARY: To encourage students to stay in school through high school graduation and prepare for life by; (1) identifying and coordinating appropriate community resources; (2) expanding guardian/caretaker support and involvement and facilitating community partnerships; and (3) providing individualized assistance to students and families with needs.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Salary
SPECIFIC DUTIES: Duties of the Floating Site Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:
Develop necessary relationships with students and coordinate efforts to serve student utilizing school staff, guardians, and community representatives.
Collaborate with AHA case manager and APS Liaison to understand the needs of the students while working collaboratively to support the student.
Provide support to enhance youth and family engagement with the student's education goals.
Serve as a case manager for approximately 50 students to bi-weekly receive long-term sustained services (through individual caseload services) and demonstrate improvement in students' performance in attendance, behavior and/or academic performance when compared to the previous school year by:
Building one-on-one relationships with students, families, and AHA Case Manager.
Checking attendance and contacting guardians of absent students.
Identifying academic deficits and supports needed, such as tutoring, to improve academic performance.
Making referrals for guardians and students to outside agencies as appropriate.
Acting as an advocate for students with other institutions, if necessary; accurately maintaining all case files, collecting required data and providing reports for the use of CIS of Atlanta, the school, the school system, and AHA.
Read and interpret student's attendance, behavior, and academic data to create a plan to move the student towards graduation
Collect and compile required reports on services delivered.
Adhere to AHA and CIS protocol for responding to crisis calls.
Maintain confidential data files.
Maintain a file on each referral to document the services provided.
Maintain a calendar of activities and services.
Work with other CIS staff to increase guardian/caretaker involvement according to goals established by CIS of Atlanta.
Complete weekly updates, monthly reports of activities and services
Meet with the school designee (School Counselor, School Social Worker) on a regular basis to discuss the progress of the students being served.
Attend required staff meetings, weekly check-ins, goal reviews, training events, and other meetings as requested by CIS of Atlanta or AHA.
Participate fully in orientation and training, meetings, and other activities required by CIS of Atlanta or AHA.
Participate in professional development activities aimed at current trends and best practices for the provision of comprehensive school and social work services.
Carry out other duties as determined by the Director of Programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in social work, social sciences, or a human service-related field or equivalent years of experience.
Two or more years' experience in working with families and/or children.
Ability to adhere to policies and procedures to complete administrative tasks correctly and on time and support the organization's goals and values.
Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications and comfortability using different software for data entry.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences within the school community.
Strong management and organizational skills
Familiarity with education, health and human services, juvenile justice, and other family support services.
Capable of working independently, meet deadlines, work under stress, be resourceful and function as an effective team member.
Prioritize the well-being and success of students in decision-making.
Analyze academic, attendance and behavioral data to identify areas for improvement.
Establish positive and trusting relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Will require some light lifting.
Must be willing to travel, as job requires.
HOURS: Working hours are generally 8:00 - 4:30 p.m., however it is expected that this person will have a flexible schedule and will work additional hours as needed to accommodate evening and weekend activities and reporting deadlines. Able to make adequate and reliable transportation arrangement.

We have a pulmonary function lab (PFT) where RTs perform outpatient and inpatient PFTS
We perform inpatient EKGs on the general care floors, occasionally outpatient (shared service with cardiology)
We manage GE Carescape R860 vents, Servo I vents, Drager VN500 and HFOV NICU vents, Phillips V60, Bubble CPAP, REMstar CPAP, Smart Vest, and Airvo
We perform bronchoscopy assistance with Glidescope disposable bronchs
Opportunity to cross-train on EEGs, PFTs and NICU
Option to participate in Annual Pulmonary Conference, Leadership Development classes, and Skills Development Courses
Our team consists of approximately 50 members, 1 director, 1 supervisor, 1 NICU lead, and 2 adult lead
We typically run 7 people during the day and 6-7 at night. Varies per census and acuity

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Is responsible for a defined set of customers within his/her local territory, as well as customers outside assigned territory when the need arises. Required to work outside normal business hours when requested on limited occasions.
Independently schedules and conducts training, installs and field support activities including PMs and CCVs, on company products, equipment and related applications at customer sites with co-travel support as needed. Exercises discretion, foresight and independent judgment when performing these duties.
Must be able to follow standard operating procedure to teach customers on the use of Hologic's products to advance the Company's business interests.
Performs technical and application support including hardware, software and chemistry troubleshooting with co-travel support as needed. Works closely with internal technical support team to gather information for complaint records and internal troubleshooting to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in reviewing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained to determine appropriate action.
Abides by training and complaint handling SOP's to ensure consistency amongst all new and existing accounts. Provides follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and technical issues are resolved.
Maintains clear and complete records to comply with all elements of the Quality System relevant to the position. Documents activities within the Oracle system and classifies calls according to SOP's. Escalates issues to management as needed.
Builds stable internal and external relationships by acting as a liaison between the customer and various departments at Hologic, reporting field issues to technical support and providing necessary follow up.
Works closely with sales team in sales process to provide technical support and performs pre-implementation meetings for all customer trainings and performs on-site Site Assessments as needed.

Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Mathematics, or related field, with 2 - 3 years of relevant experience working in molecular diagnostics/clinical laboratory setting; or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant lab experience
Familiarity with current laboratory practices and guidelines
Basic knowledge of molecular biology and chemistry principles
Ability to stay current in technical knowledge to troubleshoot technical questions from customers and provide information back to the customer in a helpful, courteous, positive and professional manner.
Computer experience, including PC networking, Windows, MS Office, Internet and others.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $62 ,300 to $97,400 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.

Performs phlebotomy (venipuncture, finger stick, heel stick, and bleeding time) according to established procedures.
Performs venipuncture using correct technique and with minimal discomfort to the patient.
Performs finger stick procedures with correct technique and when unable to obtain specimen by veniuncture.
Performs heel sticks on infants with correct technique.
Performs bleeding times according to procedure.
Understands age specific requirements for venipuncture (communication, selection of blood collection devices, minimizes blood volumes collected). This includes neonates, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Identifies patients and properly labels specimen tubes.
Identifies patient by checking name and patient identifiers on patient armband and compares with request and patient response.
