Lorain County Joint Vocational School in Oberlin, Ohio, is for adults as well as high school students who are seeking career and technical training at a minimum cost. High school students from surrounding districts may enroll in one of Lorain County's career preparation programs and get the skills needed to work in such professions as: *Carpentry *Culinary Arts *Early Childhood Education *Law Enforcement *Marketing and Management *Web and Graphic Design An additional track for high school students incorporates career preparation and college prep. Students in these programs prepare to transfer to a two-year or even a four-year college. There is also a GED-prep and basic skills division for those who have yet to get their high school diploma or need to attain basic English skills.
