The University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama, one of only 25 public liberal arts universities in the United States, provides students with a quality educational experience in the liberal arts and sciences. Programs are designed for intellectual and personal growth as well as responsible citizenship and gainful employment. Academics at the university include five bachelor's degrees, four master's degrees, educational specialist degrees, and Class AA certification programs.
