While its primary location is in Silver City, New Mexico, Western New Mexico University (WNMU) is dedicated to providing traditional and innovative academics to students throughout the state. WNMU features more than 50 degrees at the undergraduate and graduate level and more than two dozen certificate and associate's programs. Programs of study include professional specializations like Accounting, Education, Social Work and Zoology and traditional academic areas in the Humanities and the Natural and Social Sciences. Probably the most exciting aspect of WNMU's curriculum is its set of unique majors.
