**Principle duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Operate, integrate, fielded constructive simulation models in support of exercises and training in classrooms and work cells, reconfigurable tactical operations centers (RTOCs), vehicle pads, and other related training locations.

+ Maintain (update as required) the existing training support packages that integrate training products, materials, and other pertinent information necessary to train in LVCG environments.

+ Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.

+ Updates course documentation as needed to ensure timeliness and relevance.

+ Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced instructors.

+ Participates in special projects as required.

**Desirable Skills/Experience:**

+ Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs.

+ Advanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.

+ Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.

+ Understanding of UAS employment and operations.

+ Comprehensive knowledge of JLCCTC-MRF/ WARSIM functional operations.

+ 6-8 years of work experience.

**Education Required:**

+ BS/BA subject immaterial

**Security Clearance:**

+ Position requires a SECRET security clearance

+ MUST be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance

The Computer Software Instructor will be responsible for reflective delivery of all course materials and curriculum for academic programs offered by Apprentice now, to prepare the student for the workplace, As the Computer Software Instructor, you will be knowledgeable of, and adhere to, all institutional educational policies and procedures. In addition, you will participate in curriculum development and revision. Prepare and deliver workshops at events to expand instructor skill set and build personal brand.

Apprentice Now instructors have the primary responsibility of aiding our student in the achievement of their goal (i.e. to be trained and placed), and delivering a Student First experience.
Requirements

Responsibilities

+ Serve as instructor for online and/or on campus programs;

+ Deliver lectures, prepare classroom materials, field questions from student;

+ Responsible for student outcomes such as persistence rates, pass rates, and completion rates.

+ Speak at and host workshops and events;

+ Participate in creating academic videos;

+ Review and edit curriculum;

+ Attend local events and speaking engagement;

+ Author blogs and write academic articles;

+ Actively learn and expand technical knowledge;

+ Actively seek to improve personal and Apprentice Now brand.

Requirements

+ B.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology (preferred), or equivalent education;

+ Demonstrable competency in teaching programming concepts;

+ Prior experience in teaching, training, mentoring or authoring instructional materials;

+ Strong working knowledge in more than one of the following languages: Java, C#, java Scripts, Python, and Ruby;

+ Strong working knowledge in Back-End Frameworks such as Spring, .NET Core, Node, and Express and Rails;

+ Working knowledge in Front-End Frameworks such as React and Angular;

+ SQL and NoSQL;

+ HTML, CSS, and styling frameworks such as Bootstrap and materialize;

+ AWS, CI/CD;

+ Preferred: Scrum, Kanban, JavaScript, Node, MongoDB SQL.

Role and Responsibilities

Your goal will be to create a learning environment that provides inmates/detainees the opportunity to maximize their learning potential and achieve or enhance an ability to perform vocational tasks. This role will require you to:

• Provide instruction to inmates/detainees for various labor and/or technical skills. through classroom instruction, demonstration, and practical exercises.
• Maintain records including testing, daily offender work, attendance and general record-keeping.
• Assess educational needs of inmates, develop lessons plans to address those needs to include individualized assignments and training.
• Administer, score, and interpret examinations and proficiency indicators.
• Counsel your students concerning their performance, behavior, and personal problems.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/equivalency and five (5) years relevant wage-earning work experience required.
• Two (2) years teaching experience required.
• Valid teaching certification from the state Department of Education or comparable authority required.
