Plans, assigns, trains, manages and reviews the work of systems accountants, principal and senior accountants, and analysts engaged in the reconciliation, monitoring, and analysis of financial systems records and accounts. Instructs AOSD fund accounting team and policy and chartfield team in most complex work involving fiscal policy, procedures, and analysis, including creating an ongoing process for Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement No. 84, Fiduciary Activities.

Directs the analysis, identification, and evaluation of systems requirements; directs the development of effective reports, enhancements, and interfaces; manages the development of functional specifications; directs and reviews systems testing; prepares, plans, and implements new or revised procedures; identifies and recommends sub-systems modifications and interfaces to ensure systems compatibility and data integrity; and develops long-term project plans.

CIB - Equities and Prime Brokerage - Controls Middle Office - Associate

The North America Equities & Prime Finance Middle Office provides operational support for both the Equities and the Prime Brokerage businesses. Within the NA EQ & PB Middle Office, the Regulatory & Controls team is responsible for managing the end to end control environment across the North America trading, sales, and client service middle offices.

The Equities & Prime Brokerage Middle Office Regulatory & Controls team has end to end exposure to the business operational and control framework, covering a wide range of products and multiple flows. The team partners with various groups including Front Office, MO teams, Business Control Office, Business Management, Technology, Core Operations, Financial Controllers, Compliance and Audit; all to establish control & regulatory reporting governance, risk analysis, and risk reporting.

This role will focus on the oversight, control and strategy for the team.

As the role sits within the Prime Finance trade support team, there will be opportunities to work closely with Prime Finance trade support and develop an understanding of the Prime and Equities trading business.


Team Responsibilities


  • Initiate, manage and drive control improvement programs
