Analog Devices is seeking a Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer who will participate in analysis, research, design, simulation, characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, high-speed integrated circuits, working as part of the world's leading high-speed data converter team. The team has an excellent track record of producing breakthrough, innovative technologies including RF DACs and ADCs, based on a variety of architectures and in cutting-edge process technologies. Products have won extensive recognition in industry publications and at professional conferences. The cores developed will be integrated into products in a variety of end applications, including Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, and Instrumentation.

The successful candidate must have a strong, intuitive capability in solving complex challenges. The candidate will be self-motivated and be able to work effectively within a team. Demonstrated experience working with in state-of-the-art process technologies is also highly valued.
Education and Experience Requirements:

M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with experience in CMOS design

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience in converter design. While not a must, it is desirable for that experience to be with high-speed architectures, such as time-interleaved ADCs.
* Experience with calibration of circuit non-idealities, including linearization techniques. Consistent with application to cutting-edge technologies, this experience will likely be focused on "digitally-assisted analog" approaches.
* Understanding of a wide range of circuits such as wide bandwidth amplifiers and comparators, switched capacitor circuits, precision voltage and current references, LDOs.
* Experience in Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.
* Experience with MATLAB or other modeling tools, and specifically their application to the development of calibration algorithms.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a large team.

Assist the workstation operator in producing a good quality product safely and efficiently; by conducting thorough quality checks along with stacking, packaging, trimming and welding product according to standard and/or customer requirements.
Responsibilities/Duties

+ Clean, inspect, and stack the product according to standard or customer requirements.

Examples include, but are not limited to, cleaning the work area, checking product dimensions, checking die cut quality, cleaning die cut holes, etc.

+ Package materials according to Coroplast Standards of packaging

+ Hand trim laminate.

+ Weld boxes.

+ Sort material as needed.

+ Install and uninstall dies on die cutter workstations.

Required Skills

+ The Utility employee has the authority to assist operators in the setup of machines. The (laminate assigned) utility worker has the authority to set up laminate material, change rolls and make knife adjustments. The (slitter assigned) utility worker has the authority to set up blades for product slitting requirements. The (Die Cutter) utility worker has the authority to make pressure adjustments on the machines.

Required Qualifications

+ High school graduate or equivalent.

+ Have good oral and written communication skills.

+ Be available for overtime.

+ Complete basic math such as adding, dividing, subtracting, percentages, etc.

+ Train on different machinery and different lines as needed.

+ Must be able to read a ruler to 1/16"

+ Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

+ Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.

VISUAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

+ Machine operation, inspection, close assembly, clerical and administrative duties.

Example: Preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, data entry, CRT exposure, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, using measurement devices or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

+ Position requires individual to differentiate colors, depth and perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION

+ Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions.

Our Lewiston, ID location is unique as it is Clearwater Paper's only manufacturing location that produces both high quality paperboard products for our Paperboard Division as well as private label tissue products for our Consumer Products Division. The Utility is the entry level position in the Converting department in our Consumer Products Division. In this position, the Utility is responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting other Operators as needed and learning all operations within their department. The Utility also assists in different areas to fill in during time off vacancies.
Starting Pay: $20.00

Pay after 90 days: $23.69

+ + Responsible for the movement of material throughout the machine including set up through finished product

+ Actively participate in the operation of and changeovers on units, working with the necessary tools and participating in troubleshooting equipment

+ Perform quality checks on product, notify Unit Leader with any quality defects or maintenance requirements as needed

+ Responsible for accurate entries into JDE/DSI and ParcView systems

+ Help with summary availability and ensuring that necessary supplies and raw materials are at the unit. Call for supplies as needed

+ Assist with operating adjustments and minor repairs to the unit

+ Train for Operator positions across all three lines of production including Rolled, Folded, and Slitter, consistently maintaining qualification card requirements

+ Attend and apply all necessary training activities provided by the company, both job and department specific

+ Identify value-added work

+ Write/create work requests

+ Assist in training new Converting Operators as needed

+ Perform minor maintenance activities and assist Maintenance Team when needed

+ Conduct routine inspections of equipment in your area

+ Hold self and others to high level of safety standards, ensuring workplace safety policies are upheld and safety rules are followed (lockout/tagout procedures, appropriate PPE)

+ Participate as needed in safety incidents and help investigate root cause

+ Operate, maintain, and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, procedural reporting, and documentations requirements

+ Maintain a clean working environment by complying with procedures and housekeeping responsibilities

+ Pick up debris from work area, sweep, and use air hose to blow down tissue particles from in and around machine

Required education and related experience:

+ High school diploma or GED certificate

+ Minimum of two years continuous work experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or labor intensive work environment

+ Prior experience working shift work (days, swing, graveyard) preferred

+ Forklift/Clamp truck certification preferred

+ OSHA Safety training preferred

Familiar with Microsoft Office: Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc. and able to learn new computer programs Skills and Abilities (technical/professional skills, expertise and qualifications):

+ Able to understand and apply manufacturing safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confine spaces, personal protective equipment, etc.)

+ Must be able to handle the rigors of an industrial environment including temperature extremes, noisy environments and heavy lifting

+ Demonstrated ability to be an effective team player

+ Good communication skills

+ Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shift schedules that include nights, weekends and holidays.

§ Able to work in a physically demanding environment including temperature extremes, loud noise, avoiding slipping, tripping, and falling hazards

§ Physically capable of manual labor that includes bending, walking, sitting and climbing in and around machinery and equipment for entire 12-hour shift. Approximately 8 hours of standing and 4 hours of sitting per shift.

§ Able to use a variety of different machines, equipment, and tools efficiently and following all proper safety protocols (case packers, wrapper machines, napkin folders, etc.)

§ Able to lift, up to 10 lbs continuously, up to 35 lbs frequently, up to 75 lbs occasionally. When lifting 50 lbs and above, Operator will use team lifting and overhead crane assistance.

§ Work environment includes exposure to compressed air, steam, lubrication oil, dust, and hydraulic fluid.
