What will you be responsible for?
The External Relations Representative is responsible for maintaining and promoting CC&V's social license, providing meaningful support and collaboration with local partners, and implementing and running programs in support of CC&V's Community and External Relations Strategy.

Essential Job Duties:
* We advance site external affairs and community relations strategies through a continuous improvement approach to: proactively develop and manage relationships with key external collaborators, maintain CC&V's social license through implementation of Newmont's social standards, and promote and support implementation of sustainable mining practices.
* We support execution of CC&V's business plan through implementation of Newmont's Corporate Social Responsibility principles and performance against established public and internal ESG targets.
* We contribute to social aspects of risk management system implementation and integration.
* We develop community and external relations performance strategies and objectives.
* We deliver on CC&V's community and external relations objectives and supervise progress against targets and programs.
* We build and maintain effective relationships with local government officials and stakeholders to achieve business results.
* Participate in and support organization of community investment contributions to location and charitable organizations.
* We lead external relations related contracts, contractors, and consultants.
Communication & Influencing:
* Provide regular updates to site leadership of project matters, anticipating issues and identifying risks that require action or prioritization.
* Participate in internal and external working groups such as Global and Regional Communications meetings, Global Human Rights meetings, etc.
* Prepare routine written updates for sharing with regional or corporate leadership and project teams.

The salary range offered for this role is $56,720- 74,445. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
