Honestly, straight out of school, take whatever job you can to get your foot in the door and get to work polishing your skills. In this field, there's always more to learn. If you did an internship while working on your degree, follow up with that news operation. They may have job leads, and they can serve as a reference. In some cases, they may hire you!
