We are looking for full time and part time drivers in the Austin area to pick up and deliver packages to residential and business addresses. You will be required to drive your own vehicle to complete the daily route. Drivers will be independent contractors. This position is a Monday through Friday shift with Saturday availability.
Drivers should be highly energetic, competent, and self-motivated individuals with a good sense of direction and excellent customer service skills. Punctuality, reliability, and delivery experience are required. This position will also require understanding and use of handheld devices to assist with each delivery and must own a working smartphone.
Applicants should be capable of lifting to fifty pounds without assistance. We prefer applicants with verifiable work history with FedEx, UPS, or other parcel delivery services but all applicants will be considered. Route length also varies, but you can expect your workday to be 7-10 hours on average.

Must possess valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

* Driving: Drive tractor-trailers, box trucks, or sprinter vans on delivery routes for company benefit in a safe and lawful manner.
* Deliveries: Install and assemble furniture at tradeshow or event venues based on floor plans or client instructions, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and aesthetic presentation. Clean, touch up, or perform repairs as needed. Use show site mobile app to ensure and document accurate delivery.
* Pick-ups: Inspect furniture for any customer-inflicted damage, load in trucks. Ensure no product is left behind at venues.
* Provide onsite customer service: Interact professionally with clients during deliveries and setups, addressing questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
* Supervise temporary labor: Instruct temporary associates how and where to deliver, pickup, load, or unload products onsite. Ensure that work is being performed as per the clients' requests and safely.
