The Role
Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking a CI Associate to support the Continuous Improvement team. This person will assist with process mapping, SOP development, KPI tracking, and governance support. The ideal candidate is early in their CI career, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively across functions.
This role will report to the VP of Continuous Improvement and will work closely with the Senior CI Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support facilitation of Kaizen events and process mapping workshops.
Assist in drafting SOPs, developing KPIs, and preparing audit materials.
Track adoption of CI initiatives and ensure actions are followed through.
Provide analytical and documentation support for functional leaders during process improvement projects.
Contribute to CCR's governance cadences and help maintain KPI Bowler dashboards.
Learn and apply Lean and CI methodologies in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
2-4 years of professional experience; exposure to CI, Lean, or process improvement strongly preferred.
Industry background in energy (IPP, utility, OEM, EPC) preferred.
Excellent organizational, writing, and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and proactively across functions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with process improvement tools a plus.

The Role
CCR is seeking a highly motivated candidate with utility-scale solar experience to perform required preventative maintenance activities on solar PV systems. The Traveling Field Service Technician will also respond to corrective maintenance cases to troubleshoot, test, and repair PV systems ensuring they are following safe practices while working. The ideal candidate is comfortable with frequent travel, thrives in remote outdoor environments, and enjoys hands-on troubleshooting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting on-site routine maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities
DC and AC testing included but not limited to polarity, open circuit voltage, grounding continuity, communication, insulation resistance testing, I-V curve tracing
Maintaining the vehicle, tools, meters and truck stock
Creating service reports and maintaining spare parts inventory
Identify safety hazards and take appropriate action to remove or eliminate hazards
Create operability and major issue/downtime reports
Respond on-call for emergencies as directed by your supervisor
Preferred Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
NABCEP Certified Installation Professional
3-4+ years of experience PV maintenance, including PV DC operations, AC medium voltage systems, network communications and monitoring
Experience with operation of SCADA, DAS and UPS systems
Skilled in the use of testing equipment and tools such as Thermographic Electrical Inspection, IV Curve Tracing, Meggers, Ground Fault Detection
Experience in all aspects of PV maintenance, including DC systems, AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring
Diagnostic capabilities to troubleshoot and correct problems found
Knowledge of National Electrical Code and standard design/construction practices
Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight
Valid Driver's License
OSHA 10 HR Training
NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in workplace and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%

Key Responsibilities:
Compiles, edits and balances monthly volumetric.
Transmits volumes to various internal and external sources
Troubleshoots measurement deficiencies with supervisor, field personnel, and accounting groups.
Sets up new meter stations in measurement calculation system to insure volumes are calculated in accordance to contractual and industry guidelines.
Determines the appropriate placement of new and existing meters in physical flow balances.
Reviews meter calibrations with-in Test-it and applies volume correction per contract for current month measurement data and issue PPA's when warranted.
Reviews on-line gas chromatograph data for accuracy and completeness. Notifies field personnel of unit failure or tolerance exceptions.
Reviews Ultrasonic Meter (USM) data for accuracy and completeness. Review s USM log files and compares to history to identify possible performance degradation.
Manages liquid meter data, volumetric, ticketing, meter factors, etc. within FC. Files documents.
Develops a working knowledge and understanding of gas measurement. Resolves measurement and quality exceptions in the exception resolver. Manages monthly balance closing.
Develops and provides training to measurement analysts and other company personnel as needed. Acts as first point of contact for measurement analysts before escalating questions to measurement manager.

Job Scope:
Modeling & Scenario Planning develops and maintains system models required to run studies on the transmission system to ensure adherence to reliability criteria. This includes, but is not limited to, running thermal and voltage steady state powerflow studies and maintaining modeling data (connectivity, impedances, ratings, contingency information, etc.). As part of that task, the Team analyzes the risk on the transmission system both in the short term and future years, which provides critical information to anticipate unidentified issues and prioritize existing risks.
The successful candidate will perform Transmission System Modeling and Power Flow Studies/Analysis of the Exelon transmission system. These efforts will include:
Developing models and performing studies using available tools such as PSS/E and TARA
In coordination with PJM, ensuring that Exelon complies with applicable NERC Standards and PJM Operations/Planning Manuals
Leveraging experience performing power flow analysis and validation of study results
Demonstrating an understanding of OpCo Transmission System(s), including Substation and Protection Design and Technical Standards

Job Scope:
Modeling & Scenario Planning develops and maintains system models required to run studies on the transmission system to ensure adherence to reliability criteria. This includes, but is not limited to, running thermal and voltage steady state powerflow studies and maintaining modeling data (connectivity, impedances, ratings, contingency information, etc.). As part of that task, the Team analyzes the risk on the transmission system both in the short term and future years, which provides critical information to anticipate unidentified issues and prioritize existing risks.
The successful candidate will perform Transmission System Modeling and Power Flow Studies/Analysis of the Exelon transmission system. These efforts will include:
Developing models and performing studies using available tools such as PSS/E and TARA
In coordination with PJM, ensuring that Exelon complies with applicable NERC Standards and PJM Operations/Planning Manuals
Leveraging experience performing power flow analysis and validation of study results

About the Role

Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in data science libraries (especially pandas) and a strong understanding of dataframe architecture for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. Familiarity with Python-based data visualization tools is a plus.
Database and Query Languages: Experience with SQL, including constructing and optimizing complex queries for large datasets; experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based querying platforms is a strong advantage.
