Summary: This position is responsible for the creation and presentation of planning recommendations for a subset of the firm's client population in the ultra-high net worth space, the provision of guidance to the firm's financial advisors acting within the high net worth and ultra-high net worth space in support of their planning activities, as well as a content creation provider in various key areas of wealth planning. This position is uniquely situated to work directly with clients from the mass-affluent up to and including the ultra-high net worth clientele, providing a wonderful opportunity to showcase technical proficiencies in all areas of wealth planning.
Qualifications:• Minimum of a Bachelors degree, preferably in business or a related field.• Applicable industry experience including specialization in one or more key areas of wealth planning, such as exit planning, business transition or philanthropic planning.• Certified Financial Planner (CFP ) designation or willingness to complete. Summary:
The position will manage and maintain an Application Maintenance and Support Model for our enterprise platforms including HRIS/HR platforms as well as ERP/financial systems such as Workday, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and other corporate applications. The employee will have a balanced focused on daily operations across these critical platforms that are used across multiple business units, as well as maturing our support models and application roadmaps. The Experienced Analyst will play an important role working with senior bankers on strategic assignments, assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements and other advisory services. Qualifications:
Bright, professional, and motivated with the desire to excel in an intellectually challenging environment
2-3 years of experience working in investment banking or transaction experience in related fields such as accounting, consulting or corporate finance required.
Interest and curiosity in the Diversified Industrials sector
Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
Working knowledge of business software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
High level of financial knowledge (financial modeling, macroeconomics, current events, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong work ethic and teamwork skills. Self-motivated, with a strong desire to excel in a challenging field.
Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed for workflow.
Possession of Securities Industries Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and 63 licenses preferred but not required. New hires without these licenses will require successful completion upon hiring.
In this role you will:
Develop financial modules to analyze a wide variety of client-specific projects.
Collaborate with an industry team from peer analysts to managing directors.
Prepare research/analytical content for pitch books, memorandums, presentations, and other projects.
Support business development activities of senior investment bankers.
Attend client meetings and interact on transactional and technical issues.
Actively participate in live deals, such as M&A, IPOs, and advisory.
