CNA2, Intermediate Care Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. This position will work three (3) 12 hour day shifts per week.

$4,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
Required qualifications:


Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course Or equivalent educ/experience


Required upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License (Vendor Managed)


Required upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)

Job Summary :

The After School Day Care Supervisor provides assistance to the Director of Children’s Development Services and is directly responsible for the oversight of all school-aged before/after school day care.

This is a full time 35 hour per week position, Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. This role is seated in Fall River and is partially remote.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Supervise ASDC support staff, development of staff training, and program development.
  2. Monitor vendor contract to ensure program compliance
  3. Assist Director in designing professional development plan for ASDC.
  4. Attend, conduct, and participate in meetings, seminars, and training that is relevant to the provision of quality day care.
  5. Enter all new staff into the Professional Qualifications Registry (PQR).
  6. Assist the design & monitor behavioral plans and parent meetings at Children’s Academy.
  7. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding parent fee payment schedules.
  8. Oversee FSA and CCFA client record databases to ensure it remains current.
  9. Assist program Social Worker to ensure clinical and program effectiveness.
  10. Participate as a secondary approver for CCFA.
  11. Communicate verbally and in writing with various community, state and federal resources (public and private) to maintain and/or expand current program capabilities.
  12. Any other duties and responsibilities held reasonable for this position and at the supervisor’s discretion.

Education and Experience:

  • Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology or child Care
  • Have six months experience working with school age children.
  • Must also possess working knowledge of Microsoft programs.
