Classes are taught fully online, online with Microsoft Teams meetings, or in-person for specific courses/programs. Job Duties: Job duties to include but not limited to: * Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials (including OER) in the Lantern LMS. * Provides instruction to students in the discipline areas as mentioned above or other related topics. * Prepares lesson plans (as needed), maintains records and reports on student attainment, and monitors attendance/activity and progress. * Utilizes approved online course templates and syllabus format, maintains classroom order and discipline, completes program assessments, and other related activities or reporting. * Completes required college training including annual mandatory training related to college policies, online learning training, quality assurance training, LMS training, and other related training. * Completes background checks and the required Department of Corrections (DOC) training (and adheres to regulations and guidelines). The mode depends on the instructor's viability and the student need at the site. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency with technology, as well as written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
