Die Cast Operator , $18.50/ hr - Sparta, MI Workbox Staffing is hiring (Die Cast Operator) in (Sparta). (Operates any die cast and/or trim press machine, as assigned, to cast a variety of aluminum parts.) JOB EXPECTATIONS Works from written process sheet to perform any die casting and/or trim machine operation. Visually inspect for defects following established procedures. Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervisor. Properly complete all required production paperwork per instructions. Capable of diagnosing and performing minor repairs on die cast and trim press machines. Capable of repairing water, hot oil, and minor hydraulic leaks on die. Capable of setting die halves and trim dies. Capable of pulling and setting slides. Able to put robot in auto mode. Able to maneuver through Panel View on auto trim presses. Able to operate ladle and recip. Perform minor repairs on robot gripper system. Maintain clean and orderly work area. Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time. • Monday-Friday + Weekends
• 3pm-11:20pm
• $18.75

OR

• 3rd Shift
• Sunday-Thursday + Overtime (Friday/Saturday)
• 11pm-7:20am
• $18.25

Responsibilities:

• · Operate Die cast machine
• · Trim presses and all related equipment.
• · Perform basic quality checks
• · Document performance on an hourly basis.
• · Follow and adhere to safety regulations

Desired Qualities:

• · Ability to adhere to attendance policies
• · Attention to details and follow instructions for quality
• · Mechanical aptitude and previous industrial experience in operating equipment is a strong plus!
• · Able to work safely and efficiently to make production rates to get parts to our customers on time.
