A digital court reporter's primary responsibility is to transport court proceedings and digitally master record hearings. They also do court annotation, including transcribing of data recording, and also perform research. It is also their job to proofreads, edit, and prepare the final output of transcript files and ensuring compliance with appropriate standards, statutes, and regulations. They also do a test of digital court recording equipment available in courtrooms before starting court proceedings. Moreover, they bring copies of court proceedings, declarations for hearing, and approved hearing transcript on DVD or CD.
