Currently seeking a Drafter in Greenwood Village, CO for a stellar HVAC Installation and services company!
This unique position supports the technical design and development of HVAC system projects in the commercial retrofit market.
This position allows the ability to start-up and implements new design systems, processes and specifications including building libraries,
templates and project delivery protocols and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Providing technical design on assigned projects
Design HVAC ductwork sizing and layout, HVAC piping sizing and layout
Perform heating and cooling load calculations with industry software (Prefer TRACE 700)
Provide selection and schedule of equipment with oversight from the engineering lead
Assisting in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for design build mechanical systems in existing
buildings.
Assist with the development of project schedules, budgets, and contracts
Providing coordination of project designs with other disciplines
Assist with in-field verification and analysis of existing systems to support design decisions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in architectural or mechanical engineering
5-10 years experience in HVAC design in the MEP market with a focus on mechanical infrastructure
EIT certification is preferred
Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit MEP
Experience in the design of commercial building mechanical systems i.e., central plants and air systems as well as building
management systems
Knowledge of building HVAC and energy codes
Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
