OVERVIEW

The Director, Media Services is a key member of our Digital Media Buying team. Our Digital Media Buying team is responsible for marketing initiatives across multiple publishers, exceeding clients' CPA goals and generating valuable ROI for businesses of all sizes and across all industries. With the demand for digital media on the rise and the development of cutting-edge assets and tactics like, podcasting, social media, CTV, and data-driven programmatic buying being included in our offering, as well as the rapid advances in analytics, tracking, and measurement, the Digital Media Buying team has quickly become an integral part of iHeartMedia'sl Digital advertising operations.

WAYS YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

This position will report to the VP, Media Services, and will be responsible for managing a team of digital media specialists and associates that execute and optimize paid digital and social campaigns on behalf of clients. As the Director of Media Services, you will regularly attend and contribute to meetings with sales and client services counterparts, offering points of view, recommendations, and ideas for optimizing campaign performance and digital media budgets. You will also contribute by:

  • Working with the team to ensure high levels of client satisfaction are delivered
  • Driving client retention, supporting revenue growth, and guiding the digital media specialists to align client objectives with KPIs to drive optimal campaign performance
  • Guiding conversations and helping your team plan and execute holistic media strategies
  • Participating in addressing escalated client requests by identifying, evaluating, brainstorming, and recommending new opportunities alongside the team.
  • Providing strategic direction and dissemination of work to the assigned team, while managing your projects to advance the team's capabilities and performance
  • Developing a strong partnership with the client services team and account leads
  • Prioritizing client needs and being resourceful while finding solutions to solve client problems

Description:

The Director, Media Services is responsible for developing innovative paid social media strategy and leading a team of media analysts in tactical execution and optimization of media buys in order to exceed client business objectives. In conjunction with the VP, Media Services, the Director will drive the strategy and relationship for a number of BN's key media accounts.

+ Lead the relationship and provide overarching media strategy for top tier clients

+ Work in tandem with team manager to oversee all media buying strategy for your designated team of media analysts (media buyers) and ensure accuracy of all media buying and planning activity (media recommendations, campaign launches, optimizations, escalations) for the client

+ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client's media budgets and program elements - can easily answer questions pertaining to the status of the account (stage of plan, buys, current workflows, and client billings)

+ Work with analyst team to ensure campaigns meet and exceed performance goals and relationships run smoothly with the direct client and agency partners

+ Act as the subject matter expert across platform partners to guide team in providing platform updates, best practices, and remain on the forefront of media planning and buying strategy

+ Monitor resource needs across accounts/LOBs and identify resourcing and staffing to both meet client's current needs while also allowing for investment in growth

+ Collaborate with VP, Media Services and external agency partners to improve systems, workflow, processes and communication across internal and external parties

+ Mentor team manager and media analysts to drive growth and development, implement, and maintain training programs to ensure proper employee education and new hire onboarding
