The Supervisor manages roughly 15 - 30 people who oversee the intake of deliveries that are critical for the warehouse operations. The unloading, stocking, managing, and recording of the loads are crucial to allowing the products to be ordered and shipped to their customers on a national and international basis. In the Outbound process, it's reversed. You are managing your team to accurately load the necessary products for expedited delivery.

The company is looking for an Operations Leader, someone who understands how to manage people and understand the data around the processes. You should have a mindset that drives attention to detail, safety, and yet, still being a coach and mentor to your teammates. You should be able to talk through how you are cross functional, motivate others, not within your leadership structure, and influence the operations. The military provides leaders that the company wants, which may come from areas like supply chain/combat arms/aviation/maintenance environments. The company is focused on the right cultural fit (mentor/coach/developer of people) over your direct experience.

This is not the endpoint of your career. The company has many military veterans who have started in this position and have grown to higher-level operations roles to include vice-presidents. This position can be a pathway for you to move into operations, engineering, or corporate roles.

Distribution Center Supervisor FULL-TIME

The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of his/her department's operations to include, but not limited to; planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping functions to ensure a smooth and consistent operation. The supervisor provides support to employees and, at the discretion of the DC manager, other departments as necessary.

Duties include:
- Identifying and coordinating daily activities to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
- Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity.
- Foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
- Overseeing all aspects of the distribution center to ensure the products are processed and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Providing day-to-day direction and development to hourly staff to include coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions.
- Conducting annual performance appraisals and providing continued feedback on overall performance.
- Interviewing and hiring new employees.
- Analyzing business and performance trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Continue personal growth and development by using tools, resources, and relationships with other leaders.
- Responsive to employee needs, including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others.
- Managing difficult employee situations in a professional manner.

This role offers a $5,000 sign on bonus for new hires. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of non-exempt employees in CVS Health's state of the art distribution facility. The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 40,560

Maximum: 81,100

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment- 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
