Job Details:
This position is responsible for dumping catch cages onto the live hang belt and monitor the out feed of empty cages. The Cage Dumper Operator advances the row of full cages until the next one is in place for dumping. Once enough space exists on the live hang belt, the operator dumps the cage on the live hanger belt. The operator lowers the cage and checks for any remaining birds. Birds that remain in the cage are cleared with a hook and placed onto the live conveyor. Must be able to safely operate the controls to dump modules in order to keep line filled for hangers. Good manipulation of legs and feet to access and leave workstation throughout the shift, good hand/arms manipulation to operate controls to the dumper. Visually monitor flow of modules to and from dump station, monitor live birds on conveyor. Utilize leg loop to remove birds that do not drop from modules. Most work duties require working outside and when doing so the team member will be subject to all weather conditions. Position requires working around moving objects. Overtime is required as needed and occasional weekend work. All other duties will be assigned by the supervisor.
Background check is required. Applicants from the following counties will be considered: Benton, Washington, Crawford and Madison in AR and McDonald County in MO.
