**The role you'll contribute:**
+ Assesses, plans, implementing and evaluates staff development activities for respiratory therapyservices.

+ Collaborates with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
+ Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and
+ tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
+ Serves as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional
+ development.
+ Participates in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.
+ Evaluates respiratory practice and treatment based on patient outcomes.
**Qualifications**
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
+ High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
+ Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
+ Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred
+ Neonatal Pediatric Specialists (NPS) preferred
+ Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
