Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler for our client, a small, Veteran-owned business that provides high-security data destruction equipment to Federal Government Agencies, the US Military, and Intelligence Community as well as commercial clients.


Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Location : Hudson, MA 01749

Pay Range: Up to $24 an HOUR

Shift: M-F 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM


Job Summary:

Our client is looking for an engaged and experienced Electromechanical Assembler focused on quality and attention to detail to join our in-house production team. The position will focus on assembly/test of the product, integration of engineer-to-order systems, and supporting in-house repairs.


Responsibilities:

Integration of heavy-duty specialized destruction/industrial equipment

Assembly and testing of products

Drive continuous improvement and quality mindset across functional platform
Troubleshoot and conduct in-house repairs and/or scheduled calibrations

Conduct quality audits and/or FATs on incoming product

Support cycle count program including reconciliation

Other duties as assigned


Education, Experience, Skills:

Electromechanical background with good mechanical skills

Service/manufacturing experience, minimum of 3 years preferred

Ability to problem solve at a technical level

Ability to work independently and multi-task with attention to detail

Read mechanical and electrical drawings

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Purpose
Follow work instructions to complete basic, routine assemblies and test operations. Starting salary is between $20 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate hand tools to assemble product
• Record accurate production and traceability information as required
• Complete equipment set-up/changeover configurations
• Complete cycle counts (as required)
• Follow work procedures/operating instructions
• Participate in cross-training of processes as assigned
• Inspect own work and inspect work of others to ensure the reduction of defects and enhanced product quality
• Perform minor problem solving and trouble shooting
• Ability to work proficiently in multiple assembly areas
• Operate automated test equipment (hi-pot, multimeter, go/no-go tests)
• No supervisory responsibilities
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to use measurement tools
• 1-2 years of experience
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Demonstrated ability to do crimping
