Responsibilities

  • Physically and accurately pick/issue and record, based on order requirements, Metals, Colored Stone and Timepiece components for all production orders using Oracle and Oracle mobile.
  • Create work orders for Production orders, Component reworks, Vault reworks, International and Domestic rejections and Colored Stone Sales and work orders.
  • Transfer and put-away component materials and colored stones as needed.
  • Create Sub-Contract Purchase Orders for production orders that require manufacturing or refurbishment.
  • Communicate all inventory discrepancies, picking inaccuracies, BOM or other performance related issues to the Component Fulfillment Supervisor.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of both Physical and Oracle Inventory through accurate, concise, neat and timely performance of picking, put-away and processing duties.
  • Will be held accountable for the accurate performance of transactions and the proper maintenance of the workstation.
  • Cross Train and proactively aide and assist within the Component Fulfillment Department as needed.
  • Aide and assist in other areas in the Operations Group or within the organization as directed by the Component Fulfillment Supervisor.
  • All other duties may be assigned and directed by the Management team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of gemstones and pearls required
  • At least 1-2 years of practical grading experience
  • Basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management and co-workers
  • Analytical and capable of problem solving independently and with a team
  • Team player

Education

Preferable GG or Colored Stones Certificate

High School or above
