Testing Required:

Hybrid Role: Must be able to come on-site periodically and reside a commutable distance from the assigned work location.

Emergency Response: Yes - Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE's emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

The outreach department is seeking a fellow to support the company's employee engagement efforts and may include our philanthropic campaign, corporate volunteerism, alumni/retiree program, and/or a newly-established engagement network. The fellow's responsibilities may include event and program planning and execution, direct engagement with and relationship management of employees and alumni, coordinating and co-developing promotional materials with communications team, data and performance management, and internal progress reporting.

Key Accountabilities

On Site/Sponsored Events:

* Works with cross-functional teams to plan and produce event operations on company property
* Posts-event review and performance tracking
* Manages guest communication and distribution of credentials

Foundation Sponsored Events:

* Works with charitable organizations and Company's foundation team to obtain and document event-related

information

* Manages calendar, timelines and delivery metrics for grant-related events
* Works with leadership to fulfill table assignments for company sponsored events
* Works with communications team to execute event-related branding opportunities

Center of Excellence Teamwork Opportunities:

* Works with leadership to develop process documentation and metrics aimed at improving the overall

events process for the company

* Assists with periodic updates and reporting on progress

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

* Bachelor's degree

Other Qualifications

Preferred

* Bachelor's degree in one the following disciplines: public policy, communications, business administration, marketing, or related

Other Requirements:

* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people inside and outside the company
* Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and often changing priorities
