What You'll Do:

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Provide and onsite installation support for restaurants located in North America. Ensures installation of all IT systems and equipment is fully functional and ready for operations prior to Grand opening day. This position will work closely with U. S. based support and technical teams to manage New Restaurants, Hardware Rollouts, and emergency activities where onsite technical support is needed.

This position is based regionally within the area that will be supported.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

In addition to following Chipotle's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Technician will install all New Restaurant Equipment as set out by the guidelines in the Chipotle NRO Installation Run book. This includes all Hardware, Peripherals, and Low Voltage cabling required to successfully open a Chipotle NRO. This includes but not Limited to:

+ Point of Sale Terminals and Peripherals. (Cash drawers, pin pads, Loyalty scanners, etc).

+ Digital Make Line equipment. (POS, Screens, Brackets, bump bars, printers, etc)

+ Low Voltage Cabling. To include Local Helping hands and the coordination and Management of those resources onsite.

+ Back of House systems. Back of House server, keyboard, mouse, traceability scanners, Training laptops, etc.

+ Networking equipment. Switches, Routers, D-marks, extending lines, Access Points, etc

+ Any new equipment as outlined and added to NRO's openings in 2022 moving forward.

+ Testing of said above equipment including Low Voltage line testing and validations.

+ Clean-up and removal of all boxes and debris from NRO Restaurant upon completion.

+ Supply installation support for deployment and rollouts of hardware and software when NRO's are idol.

+ To include hardware or software support for remediation and or National Deployments when NRO's are precursor or 3rd party vendors are not available for return to service.

+ Supply Low Voltage repair and replace as necessary for Return to service or connection may become down at a restaurant.

+ Supply return to service capabilities for any and all hardware at a site when 3rd party suppliers are unavailable.

+ Supply Remote application support including Aloha, IOS, and Android for NRO activities between New Sore installation, Operations Turnover, Mock Day support, and Grand Opening Support.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE**

+ Possess a B.A./B.S. in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent in education and experience

+ 5-8 years total experience

+ Experience installing Total restaurant Point of sale and Back Of House servers, systems and peripherals.

+ Experience installing all forms of Low voltage cabling. Including Ethernet and Phone lines

+ Experience with Networks preferred. Including switches, routers, and access points.

+ Experience with POS software preferred.

+ 3-5 yrs experience supporting installations

+ Experience working in all types of conditions on a construction site.

+ Working closely with internal and external teams

+ Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs

+ Ability to safely use ladders and/or lifts

+ Extensive travel up to 90% of time

+ Working irregular hours including nights, weekends, and possible holidays.

+ Ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple teams

+ Ability to evaluate process workflow and identify areas for improvement

Internet Services (IS) is a service provider organization delivering network services to clients and hoteliers in the hospitality industry. Network services are installed and operated within meeting and guest rooms in hotels and other event facilities. Engineer responsibilities include the design, installation, and support of WAN/LAN, wireless, voice, and video network solutions. Act as a consultant to external clients and internal PSAV employees providing expert network and event design and configurations. This position reports to the Director, Internet Services.
Key Job Responsibilities

Technical Projects

• Coordinate IS project responsibilities including project organization, technical design, logistics communication, and execution with Partners, Contractors, and Project Manager.

• Follow and maintain design and wireless best practices and methodologies for survey, installation, and event usage. Regularly review documentation and stay current on new and changing guidelines.

• Conduct onsite and remote technical projects such as;

o Network infrastructure surveys and mandatory deliverable documentation

o Network and/or upgrade designs per PSAV and brand/industry standards or custom requests

o Network infrastructure installations and mandatory operational documentation

o Event engineering and support as required

o Provide technical training for internal and external users on network, systems, and applications capabilities as required

Event Engineering

• Act as technical design lead and level three support for internal network engineers and event managers assisting with field employees, clients, and guest room support teams.

• Consult with internal and external end users on event and network requirements including pre-sales discovery and support.

• Develop and implement network best-practices management and maintenance procedures for our clients. Attend client discovery meetings, demo and present solutions, and provide necessary input into RFI's and RFP's.

• Prepare proposals for hardware, software, and professional services as required. Develop, present, and demonstrate solutions to prospective customers based on detailed customer requirements to highlight broad solution areas with emphasis on key differentiators to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Network Monitoring and Maintenance

• Responsible for monitoring and analyzing network performance and device behavior and adhere to departmental standards and service level agreements (SLA).

• Proactively identify and lead remediation efforts of potential network issues.

• Follow incident response management procedures, acknowledgement and supervision of alerts, and provide reports and escalation information to stakeholders. Perform and review routine network preventative health checks and maintenance.

• Interface as third tier level of support for Network Operations Center for all routers, switches, access points, wireless controllers, VoIP services, and network management systems in WAN and LAN.

Training and Research & Development

• Responsible for staying current with approved network hardware and software manufactures, such as; Cisco/Meraki, Ruckus, HP/Aruba, Solarwinds, Apple, Microsoft, etc.

• Prepare and deliver training, guides, and formal documentation to internal and external employees and customers on specific hardware, software, and services as directed.

• Organize and lead efforts to utilize in-house lab environment for testing new functionality, features, and software upgrades as well as simulating current issues and behaviors of client setups.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent job experience

• Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCDA/CCNP with Wireless specialties, and other equivalent network and wireless vendors

• At least 3 years of experience within the last 10 years working in a multi-network, multi-protocol Enterprise environment.

• 3+ years of Cisco IOS and hardware experience. Familiarity with the following Cisco hardware:

o 2800, 2900, 3900, 4451x, ASR 1001, or better series routers

o 2950, 2960/S/X, 3560/X, 3750/X, 4500, or better catalyst switches

o 2500, 4400, 5800, 5520, or better Wireless LAN Controllers

o 1130-3500, 1600-3600, 1700-3700, 1800-4800 or better autonomous and LWAP/CWAP series access points

• 3 + years of experience implementing Wireless (WiFi) 802.11a/b/g/n technologies with vendors such as Cisco/Meraki, Ruckus, HP/Aruba, and Extreme Networks.

• Experience with Cisco ACS, Prime/WCS, Solarwinds products, or other network monitoring tools preferred

• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in one or more of the following areas: Routing and Switching, Security, Wireless, Video/Voice

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence other levels of management, develop technical documentation, and create customer / internal communications

• Ability to analyze network performance data to identify trends and potential problems, and support recommendations to modify and/or upgrade network equipment or services

• Ability to participate as an on-call for level 3 escalation, requiring availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Work Environment

Work is generally performed in an office that is moderately quiet. This position will occasionally visit other work locations for meetings or for other business reasons.
