Zoox's Operational Tools team is responsible for building the software that allows Zoox to operate our ever expanding fleet of prototype robo-taxis and research vehicles. This is an extremely broad scope encompassing everything from low level CAN debugging tools through to high level fleet management systems. Central to this role is being able to balance the needs of today -- accelerating Zoox's ability to reach AI milestones on the road to full autonomy -- with the needs of the future: providing tooling, and designing workflows to facilitate the operation of a commercial robo-taxi service. In this role, you will lead the software engineering team responsible for developing tools and workflows for Zoox's autonomous vehicles. You will work with engineers across the company and will collaborate closely with a team of product managers and designers to make these interfaces elegant, intuitive and powerful.

WFMT (classical music radio station) is looking for an Operations Manager/Chief Engineer. This individual maintains and improves broadcast and production facilities and processes for WFMT, the WFMT Radio Network and related digital initiatives. They troubleshoot and repair audio systems, RF systems, and Networks, set long-term strategic plans and work with and assist the technology departments which support WTTW|WFMT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage WFMT engineering operations, design and implement new technologies, order technical equipment and document engineering workflow for WFMT and WFMT Radio Network.
* Perform site surveys and plan details of remote and in-studio concerts and broadcasts.
* Facilitate expansion of content to digital platforms.
* Maintain existing facilities and equipment for WFMT including updating software, repairing systems and studios.
* Ensure that MusicMaster and Wide Orbit Automation for Radio functions smoothly.
* Analyze and respond to feedback on audio quality issues from WFMT listeners and WFMT Radio Network clients and affiliates.
* Understand radio broadcast signal flow, operate transmitter and associated equipment.
* Resolve emergency technical situations as they arise 24/7.
* Provide technical support for staff archivist.
* Recruit, train, and mentor new staff.
* Proficiency with Wheatstone Network system and associated digital consoles.
* Responsible for filing monthly reports with SoundExchange and quarterly reports with BMI.
* Familiarity with ProTools, Avid S5 Fusion console, MADI, digital and physical patch bays, microphones, analog consoles, live sound operation.
