POSITION SUMMARY The Emergency Room Tech assists and supports the nursing and medical staff of the Emergency Department, to perform patient care, and environmental tasks, and manage supplies and equipment to ensure the patient-focused, cost-effective operation of the department. The Emergency Room Tech will also be responsible for assisting the RN with performing education and observing chemical tests on patients' or control specimens by clinical staff using the lab and correctly records appropriate results and uses and maintains all laboratory equipment correctly.
