The Rail Terminal Supervisor role is based at the Davis, OK Rail Terminal and reports directly to the Assistant Plant Manager. This position is a member of the management team responsible for the daily oversight of the rail terminal. This role is responsible for the management of the terminal to realize the Company's strategic plan distribution objectives.

What you'll get to do:
• Supervise Terminal Operations including: ensuring quality service to customers and by carriers; maintaining reliability of equipment; and maximizing use of labor to optimize operational efficiency and throughput.
• Management of company employees, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with same.
• Instill a focus on the objectives of the Strategic Plan and insure that action plans are developed and implemented to attain targets and objectives.
• Liaise on-site with any contractor during any terminal retrofit/maintenance by monitoring daily progress and quality of work; focusing on problems and questions and issues and ensuring such are effectively resolved, and building strong working knowledge of equipment and operations.
• Maintain files for plant equipment, sales, and inventory control reports and records.
• Coordinate and monitor rail movement with logistics manager and receiving terminals (optimizing usage, monitoring demurrage and assisting in service and maintenance of railcar fleet).
• Coordinate terminal labor/maintenance work force (scheduling and tracking maintenance, reviewing contract labor payroll documents) and monitor other measures.
• Oversight of Third Party operations for unloading railcars at the terminal.
• Manage, maintain, and ensure adherence to applicable legislation, regulations, permits and Company environmental health and safety policies and programs by conducting regular safety inspections.
• Purchase terminal equipment and supplies as necessary to maintain operations in compliance with the Company's policies, including but not limited to the Purchasing Policy, Contract Compliance Policy and Contract Signing Authority Policy.
• Assist in developing operating and capital budgets.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Who we are looking for:
• College degree preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory or management experience in a materials handling or shipping environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local labor, safety and environmental legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical trouble shooting and equipment maintenance
