Job Description
Albemarle Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Field Foreman/Supervisor to work within our Pasadena, TX plant. This position reports to a Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of maintenance jobs. This role supports supervising craftsman, both direct hires and nested contractor leads.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Improving work force productivity and quality thru oversight of job execution.Issuing work packets from planner/scheduler to craftsmen and nested leads.Walking down jobs to oversee permit execution.Identifying any potential safety hazards that may need to be addressed in job execution.Reporting on job status at daily planning meetings.Evaluating job plans and recommending improvements to planner when needed.Reporting back to planner on planned hours versus actual hours for KPI data.Reporting back to kitter/expediter on job materials.Interfacing with Reliability Department to execute reliability improvements.Entering job history into SAP notifications.Managing break in work.
Required knowledge and skills include but are not limited to:
Strong working knowledge in maintenance job execution.Knowledge of tools, PPE, scaffolding, insulation, etc.Capable of troubleshooting mechanical and process issues.Knowledge and use of SAP as the tool used for maintenance.Knowledge of Prometheus preferred.Understanding of P&ID's, schematics, and equipment drawings.Knowledge of expediting, scheduling, and job kitting.Knowledge of fixed and rotating equipment.Knowledge and understanding of good engineering practices and principles.Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to solving equipment problems.Ability to listen and understand information and ideas and to express thought and ideas clearly and concisely through oral and written communication.
Education and Experience:

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The purpose of the Foreman Field Services position is to serve as a working Foreman of a crew of Field Technicians who remove and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, the Foreman will be responsible for all onsite paperwork, meeting all safety requirements, prepare work site to ensure safety of the public during the removal of the hazardous materials, conduct safety briefings, and monitors jobs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Ensure all employees perform assigned tasks in compliance with all company, customer, and federally required safety policies/procedures.
+ Ensure all employees are complying with all company policies and procedures on attendance, substance abuse, theft, willful or neglectful damage to company equipment, uniforms, and all remaining company rules and regulations.
+ Ensure all employees are working in the most productive and cost-effective manner to complete the assigned job/task in the best interest of company profitability.
+ Professionally and legibly complete or direct and review completion all on sight paperwork for the company and customer.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Pass the OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training
