The Order Puller is responsible for accurately locating, selecting, and preparing pipe, fittings, and related materials for customer orders in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves working in an outdoor pipe yard environment and requires knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and safe operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or pipe tongs. Key Responsibilities: Order Fulfillment: Pull and prepare pipe, tubing, and fittings based on work orders, pick tickets, or customer requests. Verify material type, size, and quantity against order specifications. Tag, label, and stage materials for shipment or delivery. Material Handling: Operate forklifts, cranes, or loaders to move and stack pipe safely. Use chains, slings, and lifting devices properly to prevent product damage. Maintain yard organization for efficient access to materials. Inventory Control: Assist with physical counts and inventory reconciliation. Report discrepancies or damaged material to supervisors promptly. Ensure all materials are stored according to company procedures. Safety & Maintenance: Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Inspect equipment daily and report any issues. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area. Communication & Teamwork: Work closely with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely order completion.
