**Position** : Machine Operator- Filler- 2nd Shift

**Location** : Frederick, Maryland


Prepares and maintains line equipment for running product that meets established production standards related to quality and productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operator will follow GMP's at all times

- Start-up inspection a. Inspect interior of filler bowl before AM sanitation

- Using a sanitizing cloth, sanitize interior of cap hopper, cap chute and lid

- If less than 24 hours down, complete AM Sanitation with Per Ox sanitizer d. After 24 hours down, operator will complete a modified wash e. Operator will call lab technician for pre-op testing

- Cap hopper lid will remain closed when not in use

- Cap hopper will be emptied daily - Operator will bring each product change over to the lab for testing, at this time the filler will remain off until lab gives approval

- Operator will taste every product from their filler

- Operator will check weights and codes every 30 minutes

- Operator will accurately record all lot code information from caps

- Operator will not allow product to sit on conveyor longer than 10 minutes without emptying product frommthe conveyor, caser and stacker and placing in cooler

- Operator will keep cap bags twisted closed and box flaps down during production

- Operator will dump all un-capped product that goes under rinser

- No hand capping

- Operator will keep a clean and safe work area during their shift

-Operator will complete daily CIP Checklist after production is complete

- Operator will remove their trash and put in dumpster daily

- Operator will have 30 minutes for lunch and two 15 minute breaks

- Operator will let management know if maintenance is needed so a work order can be written

- Operator will help other operators for the remainder of their shift, after their filler responsibilities are complete

- Operator will participate in cross-training on other filler
