**PDS Tech is seeking a Product Inspector in Tempe, AZ**

**Duties:**

+ Researches, identifies and prints the latest drawing (blueprint) of the required product and the customer's Quality Plan for use in the inspection process

+ Pulls the key characterizes of the drawing for each product ordered and Approved Supplier listing to create a Master Inspection Report in the database system to record the inspection

+ Inspects a product sample visually and dimensionally and measures the Critical and Major dimensions, utilizing the proper hand tools and gages to verify conformity to the customer purchase order

+ Reviews and confirms product documentation is complete and accurate (i.e., Certificate of Conformance, Raw Material Certification, Process Certifications and Test Reports) and that the products are from a customer Approved Supplier, verifying the traceability of the manufactured materials and testing

+ Records inspection results and compliance by assigning a "Pass, Fail or Rejection" status in the inspection log system, with additional notes, as applicable

+ Transfers compliant products with a "Pass" status, accompanied by the corresponding inspection reports and compliance documentation to the Document Inspection rack, or informs Q.A. Supervisor of non-conforming issues and rejections for verification

+ Upon confirmation of non-conforming products, creates an Orange Tag label or Rejection Tag label and transfers the entire order with appropriate label to the corresponding rack for investigation and corrections

+ Enters inspection labor time accurately into the inspection log system, relative to each product on the customer purchase order

**Requirements:**

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 4 to 6 years related industry experience and/or training

+ Successful completion of 3 months of Incora inspection training and testing

+ Competent and demonstrated hands-on experience with the use of hardware measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers, wing gauges, thread plug gauges and ring gauges, optical competitor and Johnson gauge, or other direct-reading engagement tool is preferred

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional daily interaction with internal and/or external customers (as trained)

+ Ability to be detailed oriented and perform basic research, if require

+ Ability to be trained in the essential duties of the job, with accuracy

+ Ability to learn and gain knowledge of the integrated database systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite

**Description:** Be the Quality Inspector supporting TLS programs, providing all inspections' needs to the manufacturing and testing area as well coaching line operators and assemblers, and actively collaborating with both the various TLS Program Integrated Production Teams and Operation Excellence Teams \(OETs\)\. This position is responsible for the inspection of the TLS products following the detailed Inspection Plan from the program Quality Engineer which will drive the following actions: creation and communicating non\-conformances via Q\-notes, perform daily review of work in progress, work with QE and Supervisor for inspection priorities and tasks, assist QE with review of all non\-conforming material on the program non\-conforming rack weekly for accuracy and status\. In addition, the assistance and support of audits of processes and procedures to ensure factory and program compliance with command media, local guidance, and industry standards\. Also will drive continuous improvement through the active participation in OET, champion RCCA of defects to prevent recurrence and to collaborate with the preventative actions\.
**Basic Qualifications:**

• Experience with IPTs

• Experienced with IPC\-A\-610 and IPC\-J\-STD\-001

• Proficient with common inspections tools and equipment

• Experienced with Quality best practices

• Ability to perform Repair and Rework Inspections

• Ability to perform In\-Process Manufacturing Inspections
