Service Coordinator

Coordinator I - Fire Equipment Service

Scheduling & Routing Administrative Coordinator


 Full-Time 40 hours per week


 M-F, 7:00am-4:00pm


 Job Responsibilities:

<ul>
 <li>
 Manage incoming / outgoing calls for Fire Equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Scheduling of daily routes for assigned technicians and dispatch service calls
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfactory solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods / tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and alternatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
 </li>
 <li>
 Additional tasks as needed to assist the department
 </li>
 <li>
 On-Call rotation option - once fully trained, can participate in on-call program for additional hours
 </li>
</ul>

 Job Requirements:

<ul>
 <li>
 Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and presentation skills required to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to multi-task & have multiple priorities
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer Literate - Typing 40 wpm minimum. Accuracy is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel primarily)
 </li>
 <li>
 Google Maps, ability to pull directions
 </li>
 <li>
 Scheduling history
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong Customer Service skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Consistent and dependable attendance
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Positive Attitude
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Chicagoland area
 </li>
</ul>

 Other Qualifications:

 Physical requirements: ability to sit or stand for several hours at a time; move about the office with ease; ability to kneel, bend, squat, and balance; and lift or move up to 20-pounds
 </li>

 Requires reliable sight, hearing, verbal communication and touch
 </li>
