LPN Charge Nurse

Charge Nurse (LPN) - Lead with Purpose in Person-Centered Care

 Schedule: Full-time | Day shift or NOC | Must be available weekends/holidays

Base Pay: $36.00 - $40.00/hr. Benefits: Eligible for full medical, dental & vison benefits after 60 days of employment. PTO accrual paid out for Sick time after 90 days. Personal and Vacation available after 180 days. About the Role

As a Charge Nurse, you'll supervise caregivers and CMAs, administer medications, and ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care - the kind of care you'd want for your own family.


 Whether you're coaching a new CMA or coordinating with physicians, you'll be at the heart of a team that believes in compassionate leadership, authentic connections, and doing work that matters.

What You'll Do

 Guide and support caregivers and CMAs during your shift

 Oversee and ensure quality care aligned with Friendsview's philosophy

 Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Lead shift reports and ensure smooth care transitions
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Mentor and coach staff through hands-on leadership
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Respond to incidents, complete documentation, and communicate with families
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Build care plans, assess residents, and support their evolving needs
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Collaborate across disciplines - from spiritual care to outpatient providers
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Participate in training and educational growth opportunities

Qualifications
<ul>

 Active LPN license in Oregon
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 CPR certified (current)
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Prefer 1+ year in long-term care
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Capable of making sound nursing judgments in routine & emergency situations
 
 </li>
</ul>

 Have experience using electronic health record systems (like PCC)

Requirements

 Pass DHS background check & drug screening

 Valid U.S. work authorization & documentation
