Supervisor, Machinery Maintenance - Shift Fri-Sun 8:00am-8:30pm

This position is a tactical, hands-on shift leader that supervises maintenance teams and all facilities maintenance to include buildings, grounds, and all support equipment. The main focus is to promote maximum system up-time by directly overseeing all maintenance activities to include preventative maintenance, repairs and work orders. Additionally they ensure that all responsibilities are carried out according to all safety regulations and are completed within the scheduled time frames. Develops, counsels, motivates and resolves associate relations issues, conducts performance appraisals and monitors performance of both facilities and maintenance associates.

Functional Responsibilities
  • Coordinatewith the manager and other supervisors to establish priorities and schedules the workload to satisfy production needs.
  • Troubleshootequipment and coordinatethe preventative maintenance assignments.
  • Coordinates with local contractors and vendors for equipment and services required.
  • Orderparts and equipment and obtainservices for repairs and maintenance of the facility’s equipment.
  • Assign and regularly audit work orders to ensure safety and production related work orders are highest priority.
  • Assist and train maintenance associates with diagnosis and repairs regularly.
  • Contact vendors as directed for quotes and/or technical information to maintain working relationships with suppliers, vendors and contractors as necessary.
  • Interact with facility management to ensure maintenance needs are met. Tour facility to ensure the condition of the facility is maintained.
  • Share and provide appropriate information and anticipate information needs of associates.
  • Assist Machinery Maintenance Manager with administrative and/or other functions as necessary.
  • Value individuality and the diverse talents of the team. Lead the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDRequired Qualifications
  • 3+ years working in a lead or supervisor role in distribution or warehouse environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


- Provide an exceptional customer service experience.

-Responsibilities include:

  • Check members into the system.
  • Take prospective members on tours then assist them with the new account sign-up process
  • Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
  • Detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
  • Close shift for that business day.
  • Create a bank deposit for next day.

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
  • People with positive mental attitudes excel here!
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands


  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
