We are looking for a talented BIS Service Technician II to join our team for our location in Elkhart, IN.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs.
+ Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance.
+ Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
+ Provide technical support for generators to OEMs and repair generators.
+ Travel to OEM locations for service calls for troubleshoot and repair on site.
+ Documents repair in Repair Order form.
+ Support the install team members in diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem solving using basic 6 Sigma tools.
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
+ Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in engine/generator troubleshooting preferred.
+ Pay starting at $24/HR or more based on experience level
+ Ability to work 1st Shift: M-F, 6AM - 2PM (some overtime, based on the needs of the facility)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
