The duties of a global business development manager include evaluating and coming up with plans to enhance enterprise functioning globally via data examination and scrutinization. Your job requires you to write business propositions, work together with shareholders, decide enterprise-strength, find out clients' desires, and promote business collaboration. You should also cultivate excellent skills in bargaining. As a global development manager, you are regarded and deemed a key member of the crew, indispensable, and needful to an organization to expand its enterprise globally. More so, you must develop crucial collaboration to speed up enterprise enlargement into new parts and direct your crew to simplify transactional processing strategies.

You need a bachelor's degree in marketing or management to fit into the role of a global business development manager. You can also use an associate degree as an alternative. Along with this, you must demonstrate good leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and organization skills. You must also be innovative. You will earn an annual salary of $113,908 or $54.76 per hour. It ranges between $73,000 to $177,000.

What general advice would you give to a global business development manager?

My advice would focus on three areas. First, adopt a growth/learner mindset. While your college degree has given you a great foundation of knowledge and skills, there is still much to learn. Second, build a community of support. Work (and life) are all about relationships. Put extra focus on building and maintaining strong relationships at work as well as outside of work. Finally, establish healthy work habits. Organizing your work, managing distraction, and getting the important work done (well and on time) are all essential skills for today's employees.
