What will you do:
You will be working in our meat processing facility as a Machine Operator. You can expect to:
* Set up and inspect grinding equipment in accordance with the standard operating procedures and checklists.
* Analyze samples from raw materials to determine fat content using the Foodscan Fat Analyzer
* Assure the defect eliminator is working properly
* Operate South Grinding platform control panel. Make certain the correct frozen and fat recipes are used. Assure blenders have enough raw materials to supply the forming lines.
* Inject the correct amount of CO2 into the final mixer/grinder.
* Record usage using information from the combo labels
* Immediately report any foreign objects to the supervisor
* Record all rework materials and add in to the blender according to the specification.
* Keep area clean
* Other duties as assigned
* Been able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
* Personal Protective equipment Provided (boots, frocks, bump caps, earplugs)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up and operate CNC and manual OD grinders and is capable of operating progressive and diversified machinery necessary to support manufacturing services
• Work with process engineering, quality control, and operations on all job releases to ensure compliance to customer requirements
• Meets productivity standards, and completes work in a timely manner
• Analyze programs, work instructions, op-sheets, and tooling requirements
• Perform setups, including tooling, hardware, and fixturing required for the job
• Perform routine quality checks and measurements, make necessary adjustments and/or offsets
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on the machines and maintain an organized and clean workspace
• Contribute to manufacturing process improvement
• Work to company policies and practices of safe working standards
• Determine the appropriate tools and equipment needed to perform a job
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers
