The Refugee Case Manager is a non-exempt position responsible for providing services to refugees and eligible clients that facilitate their social integration. The Refugee Case Manager will be responsible for the completion of enrollments, assessments, client eligibility determinations, and client data collection in order to help refugees and their families achieve success in their integration into life in the United States. In this role, the Refugee Case Manager will also work across programs such as Preferred Communities, Florida Center for Survivors of Torture, Refugee Resettlement, Match Grant, and other refugee programs.
* Enroll eligible clients by completing all necessary forms.
* Provide orientation to newly enrolled clients
* Assist refugees in developing individualized service plans so that they may achieve self-sufficiency.
* Conduct quarterly assessments of the Career Development Plans.
* Provide case management, refugees enrolled in the program.
* Determine the needs for medical, legal, mental health, educational, and social services.
* Assist clients with enrolling in services that are geared towards their Service Plans.
* Assess client transportation needs and, as needed, provide transportation.
* Accompany refugees to appointments.
* Maintain and document in case files for each client in accordance with funder regulations and as required by the agency.
* Prepare and document financial assistance provided towards the clients goals.
* Complete funder and agency forms.
* Ensure that all grant guidelines are followed, and deadline dates are met.
* Perform other related duties as requested by the Program Manager and Director of Refugee Services.

* Provide a positive role model for the development of socialization and other skills for all children
* Change and launder bed linens every 5 days or after a child is released from the Program, whichever is sooner

Clients have significant behavioral and emotional difficulties, requiring extensive support and individualized services to reduce recidivism with legal involvement, overcome systemic barriers and successfully connect and engage in wrap-around services. The Youth Engagement Coach may provide engagement, counseling, referral, and linkage to formal/ informal resources to prevent ongoing crisis and support law enforcement in efforts to reduce the number of officers deployed to non-emergency situations and reduce client recidivism.

The Mental Health Tech is a non-exempt position responsible for the well-being of all clients at the Level II Residential Treatment Facilities.
* Ensure client safety and ratio by maintaining an ongoing awareness of client whereabouts.
* Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by being a positive role model for the development of socialization and other skills for all residents; respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
* Assist with meals, including serving meals to ensure appropriate portion sizes, observing clients at meals and snack times, adhering to any dietary order(s), and completing the meal board.
* Observe and record all medications taken by clients and assist the Licensed Practical Nurse in maintaining an organized medication cart.

* Responsible for ensuring the concise and timely completion of all documentation and administrative tasks, including but not limited to maintaining client charts, answering phones, and relaying messages.
* Transport clients to scheduled program activities and appointments.
* Ensure facility schedule is upheld, including facilitating activities and assisting with chores.
* Perform housekeeping activities as directed: facility cleaning/sanitation, bed and linen care, and light housekeeping functions as designated by the supervisor.
* If requested, complete Mental Health Technician duties at either Level II Residential Treatment Facility to ensure ratios and staffing are maintained.
* Participate in the Emergency Preparedness Plan, including working off-site during an evacuation, by actively participating in the RTF Team A and Team B model during hurricane season. Additional compensation and support for employees who contribute during this process will be determined on a case-by-case basis, final post-storm performance evaluation, and the programs budget.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience working with co-occurring disorders is highly favorable.
* Previous experience in a residential setting is highly favorable
* Experience with the Microsoft Office suite and Electronic Health Records.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Detail and organization skills are critical
* Must obtain/maintain CPR, First-Aid, and Med Tech certification.
* Ability to work in a stressful environment under sometimes difficult client situations, including potential exposure to clients who may be verbally and/or physically aggressive.
* May be exposed to communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens, and wear personal protective equipment as required by the exposure control plan and safety program.
* Ability to lift and or carry supplies, files, medication, etc., up to 25 lbs. when required.
* Must have a valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage.
