The Head of Electrical Engineering will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical systems to support R&D and product development functions; as well as leading a team to develop design requirements, work with sensor R&D, mechanical, software, and supply chain teams throughout the product life cycle, develop and validate designs that meets those requirements and ensure a successful transition into mass production.

You'll make an impact by: Lead the development of electrical designs that meet ID requirements with an intense focus on size, cost, time to market, and quality targets.Work in a close interdisciplinary team for new product design, providing electrical design expertise to ensure a successful product bring up. Define EE architecture and execute EE product development through the entire life cycle Define and lead the design, test and validation plans for the electronics to interface with new biosensors Collaborate closely with the sensor R&D team to develop custom test fixtures and electronics to support biosensor R&D efforts.Define test criteria, draft test plans for internal or remote teams Collaborate closely with ME and ID to maintain original design intent Work with ME on decisions that affect performance of ESD, EMI, RFHelp define product features at concept stages Travel to Asia for builds and tactical problem solving (10-25%)

The Electrical Department Head position is responsible for providing accurate product knowledge, quality and excellent customer service.
Essential Functions:

+ Provide excellent service to customers.

+ Treat all team members, vendors, and customers with courtesy and respect.

+ Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner. Answer questions and resolve customer concerns. Advise customers on solutions to projects and problems. Offer solutions with add on sales when appropriate.

+ Perform any necessary customer service tasks including but not limited to; cutting keys, filling propane, running register, assisting with rental transactions, etc.

+ Provide services to customers at point of sale, including, but not limited to; running register, bagging items, assist with loading products, answering inquiries, etc.

+ Recover department daily ensuring; inventory is fronted, faced and in correct place, aisles are clean, organized and free of obstructions.

+ Responsible for making sure all products in the department are stocked properly.

+ Maintain proper inventory levels by monitoring and adjusting min / max order points, working back stock and making inventory adjustments as needed. Order inventory as necessary, and complete purchase orders and other related paperwork.

+ Complete cycle counts as required.

+ Update prices as assigned.

+ Opening and closing store as assigned.

+ Store maintenance as needed including but not limited to; cleaning common areas, trash removal, parking lot and sidewalk sweeping, and snow removal.

+ Always continue to make customers a priority while working your department.

+ Ensure a safe working environment. Maintain situational awareness. Identify and report any safety issues or concerns to management.

+ Help out in other departments as necessary.

+ Follow all company policies and procedures.

+ Other duties as assigned.
