The Head of Reverse Translational Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (MLAI) will serve as an expert in the field of MLAI to develop disease typing, risk stratification, and personalized medicine solutions through the development and validation of transformative algorithms using MLAI technologies. This role will report to the Head of Evidence Generation and Advanced Analytics in BDH Sciences.

What You'll Do

Serve as global strategic lead of a cross-functional team of data scientists dedicated to the development of MLAI omics and imaging based biomarkers to support disease typing, risk stratification for disease progression, and precision medicine solutions for the treatment of neurological disease

Lead Reverse Translational MLAI to drive omics and imaging biomarker-related expertise within BDH Sciences, partner with data scientists throughout BDH to accelerate innovations in MLAI algorithm development, develop and implement validation and QA/QC standards for MLAI algorithms, and provide technical leadership on infrastructure development for a new neurology analytic platform

Provide best-in-class technical expertise in MLAI algorithm development with a specific focus on neurodegenerative diseases, advance development of digital biomarkers that improve the benefit-risk profile of treatments for neurological disease, serve as companion diagnostics and facilitate and guide treatment decision-making in clinical practice

Further our understanding of disease types, disease progression and treatment response through omics and imaging-based biomarkers that incorporates clinical trial datasets, real-world datasets and real-world publicly available registry data

Lead the communication of results, including at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications for audiences in the therapeutic area of interest, including MLAI and digital medicine

Participate on the Evidence Generation and Advanced Analytics (EGAA) leadership team in BDH Sciences, together with the Advanced Analytics, Digital Medicine, and Precision Medicine and Methodologic Innovations teams, to set the strategic vision for cutting edge, integrated evidence generation within BDH Sciences
