Unloads customer product orders per shipping paperwork
Assists driver in paperwork and customer inquires
Worker may assist in other Shipping positions if properly trained
Continuously performs quality control tasks: visually inspects cartons, PVC and glass for imperfections, places rejects in specified area per training
Ability to visually perceive scratches, irregularities, or other imperfections in materials

Join American Trucking Group as a driver helper supporting technology equipment deliveries throughout the local area. This position provides $28 hourly compensation with overtime opportunities, consistent early schedules that get you home nightly, and comprehensive benefits starting immediately. You'll work a standard five-day schedule within a 50-mile service radius, assisting with data center equipment transport. No commercial license required, and strong candidates have clear paths for professional advancement within our growing operation.
Pay and Schedule Details
Hourly rate of $28.00 with time-and-a-half for hours beyond 40 per week. Weekly earnings of $1,120 to $1,135 per week. Medical, dental, and vision insurance activate on your hire date. Shifts generally begin at 5:00 AM, with workdays lasting between 6 and 12 hours based on customer demand. Standard Monday through Friday rotation with occasional weekend shifts.
Primary Duties
Support loading and offloading of server equipment and technology hardware at warehouse facilities and customer data centers
Use material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks and specialized rack moving devices for safe product transport
Collaborate with drivers to properly secure cargo and prepare materials for technician installation at destination sites
Maintain accurate shipment records and report any delays or concerns to supervisors immediately
Follow all safety protocols while working in dynamic construction site environments
Required Skills and Experience
Must demonstrate ability to repeatedly lift 50-pound items during shifts. Commercial driving credentials are not necessary for this role. Prior warehouse or moving industry background is highly valued. Applicants should feel confident operating in outdoor settings and construction zones with changing conditions. Familiarity with mobile technology and handheld scanning devices is beneficial.
