The Cadet travels via Geekmobile from the precinct to our client's home and assists with the delivery and basic installation of technology products alongside a seasoned Agent. They provide our clients service that exceeds expectations by handling appointments with care, asking the right questions to enhance the client experience, and providing prompt follow up of recommendations as well as solutions. Key Responsibilities

* Helps drive a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions to their needs.

* Performs a variety of fulfillment duties for clients in their homes including delivery, installation, and networking with a primary focus on Home Theater technology.

* Maintains phone and in-person contact with clients to reveal diagnostic discoveries and make recommendations for protecting their devices.

* Provides timely updates to the client and store precincts.

* Responsibly manages inventory and Geekmobile maintenance.

* Provides feedback and training to store teams as well as assists with in-store stock repairs.

* Supports Geek Squad efforts to protect the world one device at a time.

Basic Qualifications

* Current, valid driver's license

* Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)

* Ability to consistently lift/carry/maneuver products weighing 75lbs+ individually, or 150lbs+ as a team (support tools such as a harness, dolly, and/or lift may be provided as applicable for the type of work being performed)

* Be at least 21 years of age

* Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience actively using and learning about technology products

* Previous experience in sales, delivery, installation, and/or repair

* Previous experience in Customer Service

Starting salary levels: $15.13/hour for High School Diploma, $16.92 for Associates Degree and $19.29 for Bachelor's Degree or higher. Additional $0.50/hour for social work, nursing and teaching licenses. $3.00/hour stipend available for certain bilingual skills. As a Home Visitor you will travel to homes and conduct visits to families with children who qualify for program. Provide regular planned visits to establish a trusting relationship to help families with child development, parenting skills, health services and other needed resources identified at assessment or during visits. Provide screenings in accordance to program guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of program information obtained from home visits and exchanged while communicating with community and support service providers. Maintain a case load per supervisor instruction (Goal: 3-4 completed home visits per day). Complete adequate preparation for each home visit unique to the family needs and age of child. Complete and record referrals made on behalf of the families served. Document accurately in the case record each contact, progress, service need on the daily activity log. Complete required monthly and quarterly reports. Data gathered from home visit entered into early track data system within thirty days of home visit. Facilitate delivery of medical/health, education & social services, attend required supervision sessions and attend all required trainings that support staff development to maintain program fidelity.

This is a tobacco-free position.

180-day probationary period required.
