Founded in 1903, Camp Cormorant is one of the oldest overnight camps in the entire nation. The camp is nestled on 80 acres of wooded property with an extensive beachfront on Big Cormorant Lake. We are located approximately six miles south of Lake Park, MN, in the heart of Minnesota lakes country. No day at camp is just a typical day. The YMCA Camp Cormorant offers more than just a job - we offer the chance to make a lasting difference for the youth in our community! Under the supervision of the Camp Director, the Camp Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and running Camp Cormorant during the summer camp season. Job duties include but are not limited to programming, scheduling, managing staff, parent/camper relations, behavioral management, and improving upon and expanding current camp offerings in conjunction with the Camp Director. May also coordinate with and oversee visiting community partners and renters during the camp season. This position includes free room and board and is expected to live on site during the camp season.
