A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOME THEATER INSTALLER / AUTOMATION PROGRAMMER
As a Home Theater Installer / Automation Programmer, you play a key role in making our clients' theater rooms their favorite spot in their homes. Your job is to install the audio-visual equipment our customers need for optimal movie viewing. After the installation is complete, you test each component to make sure they function well together and then teach our clients how to use their new systems.
In addition, you sometimes assist the design and development department. You also perform service calls to the homes of existing clients, either to install an upgrade or troubleshoot an issue. Whenever you make these calls, you use your excellent customer service skills to let our customers know they can count on us for support. You enjoy interacting with our clients and get a kick out of seeing how much they love their home theaters. You're proud to provide them with a place of rest and relaxation while also helping our company succeed!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with automation programming
- Experience with audio-visual installation and troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications

* Ability to consistently lift/carry/maneuver products weighing 75lbs+ individually, or 150lbs+ as a team (support tools such as a harness, dolly, and/or lift may be provided as applicable for the type of work being performed)
* Be at least 21 years of age
* Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire
