**The Opportunity**

Delaware North Gaming is looking for a part-time Greyhound Racing Leadouts to join our team at Southland Casino Hotel in West Memphis, Arkansas. Racing Leadouts have the important role of handling and caring for the greyhounds in the paddock and while they are en route to the starting box.

**Responsibilities**

+ Lead dogs to the starting box.

+ Put dogs in starting box.

+ Makes sure when a dog falls or is injured that it is safely removed from the track or is going in the correct direction.

+ Perform weigh-ins.

+ Leads dogs back to lockout kennel and puts them in the correct crates.

**Physical Requirements**

+ Lift and transport greyhounds on a daily basis in excess of 70 lbs. up to 100 yards.

+ Able to run or jog up to 100 yards 7 to 10 times per night.

+ Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
