Patient population includes high-acuity cases such as multiple cardiac drips, stable vents, multi-organ failure, liver failure, and pulmonary conditions
Staffing ratio is 1:5
Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) are required
Travelers may float between varying levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) at affiliated facilities
Uses Cerner EMR and experience with this system is required
Weekend work is required every other week, with potential for consecutive weekends based on need
Charge nurse coverage may be required with provided training
Responsibilities may include precepting and being assigned students to shadow during the assignment
All travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals as needed
Candidates must agree to work 2 out of 3 major holidays as part of their contract
Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) can be auto-approved
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Charge pay is available for qualifying shifts
Requirements
Active IN or compact RN license required for start date (license in hand)
Current AHA or RQI ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required

Charge experience required
