The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Leads and manages investigations regarding organized criminal activity. Investigates incidents of organized retail crime and bring to a successful conclusion through the identification and prosecution of offenders. Identify incidents of organized retail crime through available information, such as LPMS, Hawkeye, DeepCam; and information provided by field AP. Collects, analyzes, and monitors intelligence through networking with state and local associations as well as computer-based programs and skills. Partner with law enforcement at local, state, and federal levels to identify, investigate, and prosecute external theft offenders. Identifies and develops strategies to reduce criminal theft activity. Educate our Rite Aid community and our law enforcement partners by delivering organized retail crime training. Work with local ORC groups and committees to help identify organized retail crime and to bring prolific shoplifters to a successful conclusion. Maintains a communication network that allows the flow of investigative information pertaining to e-Commerce fencing of stolen goods. Assist stores and field AP staff in identifying organized external theft activity, and work with them to develop proactive controls to prevent theft.
Education and/or Experience
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) preferred. 10 years of experience in investigation of retail loss prevention, criminal justice, law enforcement - preferably five years of which is organized retail crime investigations required.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
Loss Prevention Certified Professional (LPC) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license for business travel when applicable.

NAPAWF is seeking a seasoned, independent, and entrepreneurial community organizer in Houston, Texas. The Texas Organizing Manager is responsible for growing our base & organizational capacity in Texas, and supporting our Texas chapter leadership in building relationships with a broad array of nonprofit organizations, faith-based leadership, and community members centered on building power for AAPI women and girls around a reproductive justice agenda. The Texas Organizing Manager will be responsible for training local leadership and working with them to drive our voter engagement work and develop strong local and national campaigns. This position will also supervise and mentor all program staff in Texas and reports to the National Campaign & Membership Director.
An ideal candidate will have a strong track record of community organizing and commitment to social justice with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once, build strong coalitions, and mobilize grassroots leadership. The Texas Organizing Manager must be committed to getting results in a fast-paced environment and able to handle a unique and dynamic workload.
POSITION DUTIESThe Texas Organizing Manager is responsible for the following:
- Provides the strategic vision for work in Texas, to successfully build a strong and powerful base of AAPI women and girls directly impacted by reproductive injustice in Texas at the city and state level and at the national level

- Cultivates and holds new and existing relationships with key players in the state to advance the vision and mission of NAPAWF, and also within various coalitions and reproductive justice tables in Texas
- Help the organization procure funding for Texas state program funds, including prospecting, writing concept papers, and assisting the development staff with reports
- Provide thought leadership to the NAPAWF Field Team

The salary for this position is $55,000-65,000 commensurate with experience. A highly competitive benefits package includes a 401k plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance. NAPAWF's medical plan is covered by NAPAWF at 100% for employee and dependents with no out of pocket costs, including prescription drugs costs. Qualified dependents may also be covered. NAPAWF also offers full-time employees 15 days of vacation in the first year, sick leave, flexible spending program options and personal/family leave as well as paid vacation from December 25th through January 1st of each year.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The person in this position should be able to engage in the diverse demands of the work, including the capacity to remain in a stationary position, operate a computer, and move about the office and outside of the office. They must have the capacity to work evening hours and/or weekends as required. Occasional travel is required. This position is based in an office setting and in the field.
